The George Washington Carver (GWC) Internship Program is conducted by the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences (CALS) and consists of programs funded through different sources and tied to several colleges at Iowa State University (ISU).
COLLEGE OF AGRICULTURE AND LIFE SCIENCES
The College funds a number of undergraduate and high school students who will enhance diversity at ISU. Since the program started in 1993, students have interned in every department in the College as well as in the Colleges of Human Sciences, Veterinary Medicine, Engineering, Liberal Arts and Sciences and with the Agriculture Research Service of USDA and the USDA National Animal Disease Center.
